▼ What is RBSE 10th? Understanding the Secondary Examination
The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) is a State Level board of education in the Indian state of Rajasthan, for public and private schools, controlled and managed by the Government of Rajasthan. The Board is recognised nationally and is responsible for promotion and development of secondary education in Rajasthan state.
RBSE was established in the year 1957 and constituted under the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act 1957. The board is headquartered in Ajmer, Rajasthan, and currently has 31,246 affiliated schools across the state. All schools affiliated to RBSE follow the NCERT curriculum especially from class 6 to 12.
RBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 5, Class 8, Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March/April. The results are announced by the end of June. RBSE 10th is the secondary-level examination that determines a student’s eligibility for admission to senior secondary (Class XI-XII) education.

RBSE 10th eligibility criteria are the requirements needed to be fulfilled by students in order to apply for Rajasthan Board 10th examination. Students who fail to satisfy the given RBSE 10th eligibility will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

RBSE Class 10 results are published online on the official RBSE result portals. Students generally need their roll number and application number to check results. The expected result window for 2026 was March 2026, and the result was declared on March 24, 2026.
Passing Criteria
For promotion from Secondary level (Class IX-X) to Senior Secondary level (Class XI-XII), a student must obtain 33% overall.
